Our Story
Fox & Cub was founded by Olivia Fox, a postpartum doula, lactation counselor, and pediatric sleep consultant, who recognized the overwhelming need for holistic, wraparound support for mothers and families.
What began with supporting parents in the tender postpartum months has grown into a company built on the belief that families deserve more than one-time services — they deserve a circle of care.
Our mission is to make sure families feel seen, supported, and never alone — while also creating a thriving community of professionals who can share their expertise, grow their practices, and strengthen the standard of family care together.
What are the requirements to apply as a birth or postpartum doula?
Complete an interview with the recruitment team at Fox & Cub
Submit to a thorough background check
Provide personal and professional references
Trained/Certified through a professional organization relevant to your field
Hold current certification in Child & Infant CPR and Pediatric First Aid
Hold liability insurance
Have a business license, DBA, or LLC for your business
Have viable professional contracts for the services you provide
Excellent communication skills and reliable transportation
