Meet Carrie, one of our trusted IBCLCs (International Board Certified Lactation Consultants). After the birth of her second baby, Carrie felt a deep calling to support other parents in their infant feeding journeys.

She’s a medical professional, educator, and compassionate guide who’s here to help you reach your personal feeding goals—without judgment and with the support you deserve.

Meet Kris Ahmed, an IBCLC with a Master’s in Public Health and over 25 years of experience in reproductive health. She’s also a certified childbirth educator and pediatric sleep specialist, offering families well-rounded, compassionate care.

Kris supports a wide range of feeding concerns—from latch challenges and low supply to oversupply and breast pain—drawing from her clinical work at Kaiser Permanente and her own experience as a mom of two. She provides practical, nonjudgmental guidance to help you meet your feeding goals with confidence.

Thank you!

July 1, 2025

I was ready to give up on breastfeeding when I met with their team. They never pushed— just listened, educated, and helped me find what worked for me. I’m still nursing 3 months later and feel proud of that.

Forever grateful

They helped me wean from the nipple shield when no one else could. Their patience, warmth, and practical tools made all the difference. I finally feel like I’m nursing my baby, not fighting through it.

The best!

Our baby spent time in the NICU and had a weak latch. They met us where we were and gave us realistic, gentle guidance. Their support made breastfeeding possible when we didn’t think it could be.

Thank you Fox & Cub!

They were a lifeline in those early days of feeding. I was cracked, sore, and discouraged. My lactation counselor helped me with positioning and latch, and within one session I felt more confident and hopeful. I can’t thank them enough.
