Meet the team

olivia - fox and family

Our Founder & CEO

Olivia Fox is the Founder & CEO of Fox & Cub Family Wellness. Born and raised in Sonoma County, she has dedicated her life to helping families navigate every stage of parenthood—from pregnancy and birth to infant feeding, sleep, and beyond.

Her passion for this work is deeply personal. After spending time in the NICU with her daughter, Olivia experienced firsthand the impact of lactation support and how vital it is for new parents. She also faced her own challenges with infant and toddler sleep, which led her to extensive training and education so she could help other families feel confident and empowered in their parenting journey.

Beyond sleep and feeding support, Olivia has a deep commitment to helping women through the postpartum transition, including the emotional challenges of baby blues and postpartum depression—something she experienced firsthand after the birth of her second child. Because of her own journey with postpartum depression and anxiety, Olivia is dedicated to reducing the risk of postpartum mental health concerns for all mothers. Olivia believes that true wellness for mothers begins with full-spectrum, holistic care—starting in pregnancy and continuing through every season of parenthood. Her mission is to ensure that families receive the emotional, physical, and practical support they need to feel grounded, connected, and confident as they grow. Through compassionate guidance and evidence-based education, she aims to transform the way mothers are cared for—one family at a time.

Olivia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Sonoma State University and has over 13 years of experience working with newborns and young children. She is also a strong advocate for eco-conscious, health-focused parenting and believes in creating a supportive community where families feel empowered, informed, and never alone.

At Fox & Cub Family Wellness, Olivia has built more than just a resource—it’s a warm, welcoming space where parents can find expert guidance, compassionate support, and a true sense of community as they navigate the beautiful, messy, and transformative journey of parenthood.

When she is not working, she loves spending time with her family—whether it’s exploring Sonoma County on hikes, enjoying local activities, or visiting nearby relatives. She also has a passion for adventure and enjoy’s skydiving with her husband (which is how they met!) or indoor rock climbing together whenever they get the chance.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Central College in Pella, Iowa, in 2013, with a minor in Psychology—because understanding people has always been just as important to her as helping them move well.

A lifelong athlete, Dr. Nicole played collegiate basketball and volleyball before discovering rugby in chiropractic school at Life University in Marietta, GA. She quickly fell in love with the sport’s grit and camaraderie, playing with USA Rugby and competing in North America’s first-ever professional women’s rugby tournament in 2021. She continued to play professionally and recreationally around the world—right up until pregnancy sidelined her in the best way possible!

Dr. Nicole Strasko, DCAfter transferring to Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, CA, Dr. Nicole earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2019. That experience fueled her passion for serving families through all phases of life.

With a special focus on prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric care, Dr. Nicole is Webster Technique-certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She believes no two bodies (or birth experiences) are the same, so she tailors her approach to meet each patient exactly where they are. Her patients appreciate her mix of evidence-based care, hands-on experience, and an easygoing, relatable style.

Understanding that chiropractic is just one piece of whole-body wellness, Dr. Nicole has expanded her expertise to support moms beyond the adjustment table.
